BA with SQL skills Project:POS Data management and Analysis solution
Project Details: This project is for getting the different retailers POS data through different formats involves requirement analysis, analyzing the data and convert them into proper format and loading into POS system . The application is used by the customer to know the Point of sales for their retailers in defined format and publish in dashboards for decision making purpose.
Experience: 3-5 years
Skill Set:
1. Gathers customer needs and develops detailed business requirements
2. Possesses reasonable understanding of different relational databases,writing sql queries using MS SQL server 2008,creating tables and generating reports e.tc.
3. Proactive team player with demonstrated problem solving and analytical reasoning abilities
4. Experience working with a business team with customer interface skills
5. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
6. Business knowledge on Point of sales(POS) system.
7. Excellent witten and oral communication skills with a results – oriented attitude .
8. Having knowledge on ETL would be advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Requirement gathering,Analyze the data to find inconsistencies and write creative and efficient code to meet the requirement,this requires writing sql queries using joins,views e.tc.
2. Works with client personnel to identify required changes
3. Provide business users the data required for metrics and analysis
4. Create ETL Specification documents explaining business logic if required and communicate needed changes to development team
5. Perform unit and integration testing with defined test cases .
6. Communicate with business users on UAT and involve in prod deployment process upon approval from users.
